I went to Nara and saw Todaiji temple climbed Wakakusayama and saw many deer. We had a great time. Many tourists from other countries seemed to come back to Japan.
I enjoyed bicycle trip in Asuka, Nara. Asuka was the capital of Japan about 1400 years ago. 奈良(なら)の飛鳥(あすか)でサイクリングをたのしみました。飛鳥(あすか)は約(やく)1400年前、日本の首都(しゅと)でした。 In Asuka, there are still some mysterious stones carved in Asuka period, about 1300 to 1400 years ago. 飛鳥(あすか)には、飛鳥時代(あすかじだい)に作られた不思議(ふしぎ)な石が今ものこっています。 Asuka temple. This Buddha Statue below has sit for 1400 years. I thought his feet are unbelievably numbed. 飛鳥寺(あすかでら)です。この仏像(ぶつぞう)は1400年間、座り続けています。足は信じられないくらいしびれていると思います。 Nara is famous for Somen, a kind of noodle and Sushi wrapped with persimmon leaves. 奈良(なら)の名物(めいぶつ)はそうめんと柿の葉(かきのは)ずしです。 This place is a symbol of Asuka. This ancient big tomb was built in early 7th century. This is called "Ishibutai Kofun" literally means "stone stage ancient tomb"
この場所(ばしょ)は飛鳥(あすか)のシンボルになっています。この古墳(こふん)は7世紀(せいき)に作られました。石舞台古墳(いしぶたいこふん)と言われています。 This is the restaurant I went last week. The building of "Kanakana" was built about 100 years ago. So you can enjoy an atmosphere of traditional Japanese house and local food. It's located in Naramachi near Nara park.
このレストランは私が先週(せんしゅう)行(い)ったレストランです。この「カナカナ」の建物(たてもの)は約(やく)100年前(ねんまえ)に建(た)てられました。だから、日本の伝統的(でんとうてき)な雰囲気(ふんいき)と地元(じもの)の料理(りょうり)が楽(たの)しめますよ。 このレストランは奈良公園(ならこうえん)の近(ちか)くのならまちにあります。 Toshodaiji was bullt by a Buddhist priest, Ganjin who came to Japan from china in 753. This temple has many old statues. They are very beautiful. Unfortunately I couldn't take pictures of them. 唐招提寺(とうしょうだいじ)は鑑真和上(がんじんわじょう)によって建(た)てられました。彼は、中国(ちゅうごく)から753年にやってきました。この寺(てら)には、たくさん古い銅像(どうぞう)があります。とてもきれいです。残念(ざんねん)ながら、写真(しゃしん)を撮れませんでした。 This temple is one of the world heritage sites.
この寺(てら)は、世界文化遺産(せかいぶんかいさん)の一つです。 "Horyuji" is the oldest wooden building in the world. It was built by Shotokutaishi in the 7th century. It's designated as the World Heritage in 1993. In this temple, I saw a beautiful statue of Buddha, and I also find a few Sakura blooming.
法隆寺(ほうりゅうじ)は世界最古(せかいさいこ)の木造建築(もくぞうけんちく)です。このお寺(てら)は7世紀(せいき)に聖徳太子(しょうとくたいし)によって建(た)てられました。1993年に世界遺産(せかいいさん)に登録(とうろく)されました。ここでとてもきれいな仏像(ぶつぞう)を見(み)ました。そして少(すこ)しだけ桜(さくら)が咲(さ)いていましたよ!^^ This temple was built by the Emperor Shomu in the 8th century. It has the largest statue of Buddha in Japan and also some beautiful statues of the guardian gods.
東大寺(とうだいじ)は、8世紀(せいき)に聖武天皇(しょうむてんのう)によって建(た)てられました。ここには日本(にほん)で一番(おおきい)仏像(ぶつぞう)や美(うつく)しい仁王像(におうぞう)があります。ぜひ行(い)ってみてください^^ "Nakatanido" is a very interesting and famous Mochi shop. You can see the rice-cake pounding at the storefront. The performance is very unique and amazing. Yomogi is a Japanese mugwort. They knead yomogi into mochi. Very delicious! ^^

People cut deer's horns so that they will not hurt people with their horns. Don't worry. There are a lot of wild deer in Nara park. It is said deer is a messenger of God. They are very cute! You can buy food for them and feed them there. 奈良公園(ならこうえん)には、たくさん野生(やせい)の鹿(しか)がいます。鹿(しか)は神の使い(かみのつかい)と言(い)われています。鹿(しか)はとてもかわいいです!この公園(こうえん)で餌(えさ)を買(か)って、鹿たちにあげることができますよ!
